SkinSpirit Brand Photography in Austin, Texas

Every so often a brand shoot comes together so well that it stops feeling like work. SkinSpirit flew their entire marketing team into Austin for a full day of content at their West Lake Hills location on Bee Caves Road, and we spent the day building a library of images for a med spa brand that already knows exactly who it is.

SkinSpirit is one of the country's best known medical aesthetics groups, with more than 60 locations nationwide offering Botox, dermal fillers, facials, laser treatments, body contouring, and medical-grade skincare. When a brand at that scale flies a whole team in for one shoot day, the images have to work everywhere: website, social, email, ads, print, and every one of those locations.

Meet the Marketing Team Behind the Brand

This is the group that makes SkinSpirit look like SkinSpirit. Their marketing team flew in from all over the country to be in one room for one day, which almost never happens for a company with locations in this many cities. When you get that chance, you shoot everything.

George Baxter-Holder, DNP, CANS, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist, brought a mint green bow tie to a med spa shoot, which tells you most of what you need to know about the energy of this day.

Retail Shelf and Product Photos That Do Double Duty

We shot a full set at the skincare shelves, because those images are the hardest working files a med spa can own. One frame becomes a website banner, an Instagram post, an email header promoting a product line, and a print piece in the treatment room.

The trick with retail shelf photos is keeping the product legible without making the whole thing look like a catalog. Real people, real light, real space. That is how the products end up feeling like part of the brand instead of an ad dropped on top of it.

Headshots That Still Look Like People

We used the lounge for individual portraits, with its soft abstract art, warm sconces, and velvet seating doing the styling for us. Everyone got a standing frame, a seated frame, and a tighter headshot, all lit the same way so the set works together on a team page instead of looking like six different photographers shot it.

That consistency is the part most companies underestimate. Matching headshots across a leadership page, LinkedIn, press kits, and provider bios make a brand look organized before anyone reads a single word.

Brand Photography for Med Spas, Aesthetics Practices, and Small Businesses

Here is the part I actually want you to take from this post. Your marketing is only as strong as the images sitting behind it, and stock photos of someone else's treatment room will never sell your practice the way your own team will.

I'm Whitney, a brand and commercial photographer based in Austin and Dallas, Texas, and I build image libraries that a marketing team can actually work from all year: team and group photos, individual headshots, product and retail imagery, treatment room and interior shots, and lifestyle content sized for web, social, email, ads, and print.

Whether you are a med spa, a dental or aesthetics practice, a builder, a boutique, or any small business that is tired of scrambling for content, I would love to help. I travel for shoots, and one well-planned day on site can carry your marketing for months. Reach out and let's talk about what your brand needs.
